Sergei Prokofiev, Post #932/2023

Sara Beth Cohen found this picture of Soviet composer Sergei Prokofiev from 1937. Prokofiev was an enthusiastic player. Andy Soltis reported that Prokofiev played a match with David Oistrakh, the loser to play a free concert. Oistrakh won the match with one win and three draws; both men played the concert.
